Overalls are a tricky thing to sport, particularly if you're not model tall.
I remember wearing my first pair of denim overalls and wondering why I looked so barrel-esque in every photo. After that, I smartened up and swore off buying ill-fitting clothing that required a full-grown adult to snap herself in.
But I'm eating my words now. I've never seen overalls be cut so well until this season. They finally smartened up.
This season, I'm a flag bearer for dungarees. In leather, the overall look is a sleeker, less-dumpy silhouette. I like how the light plays up the unexpected, waxy finish. Bonus with these pockets. Pair a soft brushed acid washed denim shirt for an edgy, rock-and-roll contrast, some heels and your favorite stand-by jewelry. Done.
